Rashid and Malan power England to the second win

England beat host South Africa by 4 wickets in the second consecutive T20I match played tonight in Paarls’ Boland Park to win the 3 matches series 2-0.

England’s top order batsman David Malan batted brilliantly as he smashed a match-winning half-century to win the match by 4 wickets for England to chase down the 147 targets in the last over with a ball to spare.

South Africa asked to bat first by England as they restricted to fewer than 150 as spinner Adel Rashid bag 3 wickets in his four overs spell for conceding just 23 runs.

While chasing, despite the bad start by England they managed to achieve the target and win the series with a game to go.

South African China-man bowler Tabriz Shamsi bowled superbly getting rid of three English batsmen but couldn’t level the series.
